Vice-gun detection system is one of the important sub-system in the AOD (Argon Oxygen Decarburization) furnace ferroalloy smelting process. AOD furnace smelting ferroalloy is an extremely complex industrial process, as the high temperature melting process, poor environment, difficult to accurately carried out during the continuous measurement of temperature and composition, therefore can not use conventional methods of process control to control. Vice-gun detection system in the ferroalloy smelting process is particularly important. Ferroalloy smelting process because the need for temperature, carbon content and a variety of elements to measure and to allow adjustment control, therefore, the Vice-gun system stability, accuracy, efficiency, is to ensure the smooth progress of the preceding necessary and sufficient conditions, and in this test, based on the end of the implementation of carbon content to provide an accurate prediction of the necessary conditions.In this paper, extensive literature on the basis of access at home and abroad, combined with the characteristics of Vice-gun movement, carried out the following research work:1. The system design of the component unitsVice-gun detection system can be divided into multiple units blocks, mainly lifting units, rotating unit, the automatic loading and unloading unit probe. Based on their own characteristics and requirements of each module, a matching device.2. control strategy studiesThese include the choice of control method, control program to determine and control algorithms design. Vice-gun in detection accuracy position control is extremely important to stop the gun too early, causing the probe did not meet the default location test failed; too late to stop the gun, insert the probe too deeply will cause burning molten steel gun. Throughout the testing process, the temperature is high, bad environment, requiring a limited period of time. According to these characteristics, this choice of the control program used with a feed-forward position, speed, double-loop control scheme. Position, velocity loop regulator uses two PID control algorithm to achieve, the speed ring is designed based on vector control. Simulation results show that the regulation of time, location 8s steady-state error is 0, to the default requirement.3. Hardware and software implementationVice-gun system hardware mainly consists of:the main circuit and control circuit. The main circuit is mainly connected transducer and motor, the control circuit is mainly PLC and transducer connections, software components, mainly in SIMATIC S7-300 to implement.4. The carbon content of Soft Measurement TechnologyDetection of carbon content in the process of detection is the key. In this paper adopt soft-sensing technique, namelycrystalline carbon-identification method. And on this basis, the introduction of RBF neural network technology through the standardization of the raw data pre-processing, using clustering algorithm to determine the RBF network-centric, use a weighted forgetting factor recursive least squares method to adjust weights, established a carbon content of the prediction model, in order to achieve the end-point control provides the necessary support. The simulation results show that this method can be used in the actual smelting process.
