Transition To Secondary School Teacher Role In The Concept Of People-oriented Research

When we mention"the education satisfied by the people", we will think about the human centered theory. Students focused education is also demanded by the education nature. People orientation is to respect human's value including the human's independent nature, personality, and demands, to acknowledge the cognition and ability viriations, to maintain the vocational equality, to create new personality and authority, to respect the demands of the developing people, and eventually to make everyone feel his or her own value. The specialty of people orientation is to respect people, depend on the people, develop personality , and for the people. People orientation has abundant meanings and great significance.。The secondary schools import the idea , to'set people free, make people develop'. The ultimate aim is to realize the people's free and all-round development. That is to say, take measures to improve the students'general quality for their all-round development. As long as the headmasters, head teachers, teachers and parents, especially every jointed sides related to education , change their roles, seriously study the scientific outlook on development, establish and implement it, the education exam-tendency can be reversed. The head-teachers'work level can be raised, the students can develop roundly , continuously and healthily. The head-teachers in secondary school play roles as leader, organizer, manager, educator and the coordinator between course teachers. But their roles have some problems such as: lack of promoter role, lack of behavior illustration, lack of comprehending the particular cases of their students, exceeding managing role, lack of coordinator role. The reasons leading to these problems are complex. I think the main causes include : the form teachers are lack of knowledge and education skills, lack of behavior illustration, too strict with the students'behavior regulation, lack of true love and care to the students, and the system of schools'management and operation. According to the demand of the people, the form teachers should change their roles step by step. Their roles- transformation relates to the students'quality improvement and healthy development. During the transformation, the head-teachers should insist on the two principles of students orientation and improving the students'quality. They should be clear about their job natures and responsibilities, improve their working ways, create new class managing mode.
