| Sex ratio at birth(SRB) is a standard of human sex structure. It means that with 100 female infants born, the number of male infants have been born. The SRB is always stable bout 103-107 catering to countries.China has been in an abnormal SRB period. From the 5th national statistical data of China(2000), it is so a little high that has varied Chinese sex structure. Then, according to some specialists of human science, the expectancy of lack female in China who can be married with Chinese male in 2020 is more or less 30,000,000 by nowadays unbalance rate of abnormal SRB. It's time to deal with this hazard situation for our nation.In the field of SRB studying, the foreign and domestic specialists have found out 3 agreed and visible factors. They're directly pointing at the core of coping with the problems about our nation:(1) There're some statistical bias and random error of measurement in real situation about SRB of some areas, and some man-made lost number data of female infants used in studies can not be really caught, so the number of lost infants is deduced by the official legislated birth records. That is to say, the lost number of infants can not be actually deposited; it is a chaos because using such data would go to the edge of the core.(2) SRB is a stable standard which only can be varied by the methods of man-made disturbing and driven by the beforehand of women pregnancy. So its balance or not is concluded by bias of couples who want to have babies. If some technology used conveniently and certainly, the bias of infant sex will be in. The Chinese SRB unbalance started at 1983-1984, by the research, then went to the extremely high to 2000. During the last 27 years, it's the time about some tech which are used in non-medical ways to discover the sex of the infant. Accordingly, it makes the chances and possibilities for the bias of boys or girls.(3) SRB is different from some areas. Under the different situations, the odds and factors of SRB are various. If society-economy, customs, natural situation and so on are not matched, the SRB is not same. Based on the all above, the SRB is mainly decided by the bias, in case that it's not occurring. The current studies about SRB research are only about the main regions, not about some nation-clustering areas. So, this paper is about one of Chinese nation-clustering area—Yan Bian, Ji Lin province.In order to cope with SRB problems, this research is choosing about a area of China. This area contains about some different nations. With Epidemic research methods, use the logistic regression to probe the core of SRB situation in Yan Bian Ji Lin province. Set up hypothesis and significance test which gives us some conclusions. The results tell us:(1)the local SRB is about 102-114;(2)the nationality, education, living areas and so on are the factors which can influence the SRB in Yan Bian, Ji Lin province. |
