The moral condition of a nation and a state relates to the security of them and the progress of social civilization directly. Over 2000 years, the practice of Chinese traditional moral education formed a quite complete methodology. The problem that the moral educators should think and research is that discovering and absorbing the reasonable compositions of Chinese traditional moral education, applying it in modern moral education work creatively, and executing modern moral education work much more scientifically and effectively.Chinese traditional moral education approaches are as follows, the education of holy king dominated by the state, the education of clan dominated by native society, the education of family and the education of individuals and self-cultivation, etc. The main methods of Chinese traditional moral education are as follows, the method of model demonstration, the method of environment edification, the method of practicing virtue, the method of teaching and guiding and the method of turning to the good, etc. It is not only that Chinese traditional moral education is a simple way of operational mechanism, but also that there is a profound theoretical foundation in it, such as the theory of humanity orientation, the theory of acquisition, the theory of regularity and the theory of learning and practicing, etc. The means of Chinese traditional moral education in practice has obvious features of institutional, permeability and artistic.According to the historical materialism and dialectical materialism, Chinese traditional moral education has both modern value and historical limitations. The modern value embodies in that it values the moral theory of human nature in the process of morality formation, the influence to the one's mind who takes up the education, the unity of learning and practicing, the subjectivity and conscious spirit in the moral forming process, the moral goals and feasibility of methods, etc. The historical limitations embodies in that it bases on blazon, ignores individual differences, overestimates model utility and has superstition components, etc.The problem of teenagers' moral education in our country as follows. The mode of family education is not healthy. The moral education in schools is weak. Society has its own shortcomings in the teenagers' moral education. The methods of moral education also exists some problems. The successful practice of traditional moral education can provide us with some useful reference. In the moral education work, we can strengthen as follows, playing the basic role in family education, playing the directing role in school education, pay attention to the social environment of moral education, play the key role in the life of moral education, etc. In the methods of moral education, we can find out the point of the moral education work gradually, teach and guide to strengthen the teenagers' morality, attaches great importance to the teenagers' moral emotion subtly, set up an example to enhance the exemplary role of educators, strict with yourself to cultivate the teenagers' moral self-discipline , Turn over a kind leaf to prevent teenagers misconduct.The innovation and deficiencies.
