The new high school physics curriculum standards focus on cultivating and enhancing students' ability. The core is to develop students' thinking comprehensiveness. Mind mapping absorbs brain science, education science, information technology, and other new achievements in various fields. In the application of school education and teaching, it has become increasingly prominent to meet the needs of the new curriculum reform. It realizes the nature of classroom activity. It is also a students'active thinking objective. The production process of mind mapping can promote students' thinking concentration and divergence in order to effectively change the cognitive style of students and guide students to self-study, reflection and cooperative learning, effectively sum up memories of knowledge and clarify ideas, help students learn how to learn, improve students'thinking quality of analyzing and solving problems so that students can benefit from it in their whole life. This study includes the following:The first part, through the literature, it describes the basic theory of mind mapping, brain science theory, the new curriculum reform physics teaching theory and learning theory. The second part, through action research, mind mapping is applied in high school physics teaching. It mainly demonstrates "small step brisk walking," progressive training of the legal system map, "the four composition" learning mode and the application of mind mapping in different types of classes. The third part, through comparative experimental research, mind mapping is applied in high school physics teaching. To carry out the relevant questionnaires and testing in order to test experimental results.Experiments show that the application of physics mind mapping teaching in high school can effectively enhance students'interest in learning, markedly improve students'active participation in class, their collaboration and communication capablities, enhance students'ability to analyze and solve problems, effectively promote students'reflection, learn how to learn, improve students'academic performance.
