The biological experiment teaching in high schools is one of the most important parts of training students' abilities, improving students' scientific quality. In the current biological experiment teaching in high schools, teachers pay more attention to the cognition, less to the procedure, pay more attention to the indirectly empirical induction, less to the development of the students' ability. The result of this teaching mode make some students passively and even sicken of studying. Therefore, how can we construct a vigorous learning procedure during the limited time of the class teaching, provide students with ample space of scientific exploration and meet the needs of students of all levels to develop autonomously? On the basis of the literatures and the survey of the current biological teaching mode, as well as the author's experience teaching in high school, interactive teaching, as a vibrant and new teaching mode, is put forward.First of all, the author clarified the significance and value of experiment teaching pattern by analyzing the tendency of experiment teaching home and abroad; then, put forward an important mode for biological teaching, that is interactive teaching mode, based on the investigation of the current biological status; and the concept, theoretical foundation, connotation, and application of the interactive teaching mode, referred to a great deal of literatures were be explained and presented; also, the application of the interactive teaching mode in high schools, that is four classes were chosen, which were directed by the present author, and two classes (No.3 and No.6) regarded as control and two classes (No. 14 and No. 15) as experimental ones, and found that this experiment teaching mode is very important in the development of the student's sense of question, sense of exploration, sense of overcoming difficulties which may come across during the experiments, on the basis of the attitude to study and academic performance. The results turn out to be that the interactive teaching mode helps students understand and master the knowledge of experiments and improve students' ability of analyzing and solving questions; and the content of teaching, the preparation of experiments, teachers' guide and so on were discussed.
