Moral Education In Universities In The Mental Health Education Research

Moral education is an important component of higher education of our country, it provides moral base to cultivate successors to the cause of social modernlization's construction. However, there exists many shortcomings in our country's moral education. In recent years, reform and creation are carried in many institutions and universities for practical needs, education of psychological healthy is included in moral education, therefore, the field of moral work is broaden. This make the moral work more scientific and acceptable, meanwhile, education of university students' psychological health education is combined with the function of moral education. In this essay, the writer agrees that psychological health education has 3 functions (as some research institution think): educating students' soul; morality and students themselves. However, in view of moral education in universities, cultivating students' morality and students themselves should be emphasized.In the work of moral education, except for the psychological consults; psychological instruction for teams; psychological instruction for friends; psychological treatment, moral educators should change their role of dominants, they should have sincere emotional communication with students and take various measures to (such as combining psychological education with teaching, administration and teachers' training; guiding students to develop mental healthy via various political teaching methods; embodying psychological health education in the construction of campus culture; helping students to face failures; providing extracurricular instruction and paying more humanistic attention to the students who have psychological health). The practice above can help improve the degree of moral internalization and thus fulfill the function of cultivating students' morality and students themselves.
