Career development has been risen for some time in China, people’s awareness of career development has become more and more profound, and many colleges and universities have conducted a career guidance, but the overall view, the current career guidance is far from being to meet the needs of students, especially relative to developed countries and regions, our career guidance seems to be rather backward. At the same time, the current employment situation is becoming increasingly tense, growing employment pressure of university students, college students for their future development of the increasing degree of confusion on the career education needs of more urgent. Of this life-changing experience at the university during the process, the formation of what kind of career development, how to improve all aspects of their professional career is placed in front of university students is an important issue, but also how contemporary college students in the career development of the prerequisite and guarantee. But so far, "career development" concept as a whole, the study presented very rare special, more not suitable for contemporary Chinese college students career development assessment tool. In view of this, the research areas of this integrated theory, drawing on the study of the measurement instruments at home and abroad, research career development of university students, and the preparation of a suitable career development of contemporary college students a questionnaire so that they can better understand their own. In this study, document analysis, semi-open-ended questionnaires and individual interviews, based on the students make their own career development on the theoretical assumptions, and on this basis, career development of university students developed a questionnaire, after a preliminary determination and the corresponding statistical analysis, the formation of a formal questionnaire. The full questionnaire is composed of two questionnaires, a total of 80 items, the last use of the questionnaire of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Chongqing Technology and Business College students in vocational colleges to conduct investigations and studies, through correlation analysis, factor analysis, variance analysis, statistical methods analysis results showed that:1.Institute students build a career development model is more reasonable, and college students career development is a multi-dimensional community structures, including the two factors and nine dimensions, a factor is self-cognition, including the sense of responsibility, into a sense of achievement, motivation, attitude, stress, attitudes, emotional attitudes seven dimensions; second factor is the action plan, including job knowledge and job-ready two dimensions.2. On the questionnaire reliability and validity tested and found:"Students Career Development Questionnaire" has good reliability and validity, can serve as a university student career development of measurement tools.3. Students scoring career development capacity of the middle, in which the capacity factor, the students knowledge of the environment Feedback correction capability and the ability to score relatively high, the remaining capacity factor score is relatively low.4. college students career development capacity of gender attitudes in life, stress attitude, emotional attitudes significantly different dimension; grade in the sense of responsibility, a sense of integration and very significant differences in attitude towards life (P<0.01), a sense of achievement, motivation and emotional attitude dimensions significantly different (P<0.05), no significant differences in the other dimensions; whether the student cadres in the attitude of the dimension of stress significantly different (P<0.05), professional knowledge and action plans are very different dimension marked (p<0.01) and the remaining dimensions were not significantly different.
