The traditional school moral education pays great attention to moral knowledge's impartment and it neglects moral practice. The moral essence lies in"practice". Under the guidance of "Junior High School Moral education Program" and other guiding principles, now junior high schools in Shanghai are transforming the moral education ways, pay gradually attention to"take students as foundation."In school moral education, they use activity as the intermediary to improve student's moral standards by the way of class moral education subject activity course, then to urge their all-round development. By the investigation and questionnaire on the spot, I discovered while class moral education subject activity course plays a positive role on improving students'moral level, it also has many problems. For example:The target that the teachers who put class moral education subject activity course into practice know the target of new course reform, but they know little about the junior high school moral education outline and they are lack of system and clear concepts of the moral education methods and its aims; they neglect to develop students'inherent moral demands and their abilities of developing their morality by themselves and some other problems. So this paper tries to suspect the present situations of class moral education subject activity course in Shanghai and its problems exist now on the basis of the theory and practice we have had. And according to that, I want to give some suggestions to improve the efficiency of class moral education subject activity course.Facing to the problems exist now, the paper has the following suggestions: from the participants involve in class moral education subject activity course, we should pay great attention to enhance the teachers'accomplishment and we also should understand the students'status and their responsibilities correctly, from class moral education subject activity course's preparatory stage, while we insist on students independent status, teachers also should participate in drawing up the moral goals and distribute duty rationally in order to guarantee each student has the duty and he can complete the task smoothly, from implementation stage, in order to further enhance its validity, we should also follow these principles such as"the knowing and doing are all heavy""nimbly and diverse","follows close on the reality"besides insist on student's independent principle, the practical principle and the interesting principle. At the same time, we may use mutually self-discussion, case discussion, emotion education, role transference, self-practice and so on to enhance the efficiency of moral education, from appraisal aspect, we should make the valuer diversification, the evaluation criteria hierarchization, the appraisal way diversification, and during the appraisal we should guarantee that the appraisal is reasonable. We also should pay great attention to stage reconsideration and transparence about the appraisal. We can distinguish student's accidental moral behavior from the true moral behavior. When we want to appraise, we can combine the motive and the effect. From school, it should complete the macroeconomic regulation, it also should combine the moral education contents of different grades and let the school become the one which is suitable to study and students can study happily there.
