The Professionalism of Teachers is not only the global tide in teacher education research. but also the issue of educational innovation in China. With the development of educational enterprise and the reform of elementary education. teacher training shows the signs of concernment.Setting a private school—Ma Anshan China & Canada Bilingual School as an example, the author analyses the problems and their causes in details, and on the basis of these, the author presents some methods on how to make school-based teacher training effective. Firstly, improve the facilities of a school, so as to guarantee the implement of the effective school-based teacher training. Secondly, to plan the training procedure in reason and enhance the management of training process become the crux of the implement of the effective school-based teacher training, which requires that the leaders of the school, especially the principal must have a top level of management and operation abilities. Thirdly, a school should change and improve the conditions outside so as to build a flexible, benign and beneficial circumstances for the school-based teacher training to the best of its abilities. Finally, the author introduces some other methods in favor of the implement of the school-based teacher training.The paper mostly aims at the methods of carrying on the school-based teacher training of private school, but the author thinks that there are also the same problems and puzzles in other public schools. So the public schools should take some measures to make the school-based teacher training effective to establish stable foundation for the survival and development of them. Hereby, the paper emphasizes that other schools should analyses the factual instances of theirs and take measures which are good for them and carry on effective school-based teacher training. Thus the paper has reference values in a way, in order to work for eliciting many good and useful methods of making the school-based teacher training effective.
