Nowadays, take the computer and the network as representative modern information technology's fast development and popularization, to humanity's working way and the life style have had the enormous influence. In order to adapt society's development, we must reform and innovate in education system and the personnel training pattern unceasingly, but the development of the modern information technology has also provided the new tool for the education, is playing the positive role in the raise creation talented person aspect. In other words, the use of information technology for teaching is an inevitable trend, the use of information technology are bound to affect a change in the way students learn.This paper first propose China's basic education curriculum reform in the 'integration of mathematics curriculum and information technology' in the theory premise as the research background, takes the graphing calculator as a new technology introducing to mathematics class, takes the investigative theory of learning as the foundation, put forward a Graphing Calculator-based platform's guidance investigative study pattern: 'observe—inquire—find—suppose—prove' , and verifies this pattern through teaching and learning practice is reasonable and feasible. Indicated through the research that information technology's development and application, inject new vigor for mathematics education, the use of graphing calculator have been able to optimize mathematics class instruction, and the learning style of students have a positive change function. The use of graphing calculator, may enable student's to manifest in study independent, improves the study interest effectively, and enhances the awareness of investigative study 'the independent—cooperation—to explore'.Finally, this article carries on the summary and the appraisal to the support of the graphing calculator in high school mathematics investigative study, proposes reconsideration and predict, hopes to play full of the role of modern information technology, practices unceasingly, improve the quality of teaching and learning.
