The implementation of New Curriculum Policy is the most important part in the process of Curriculum Policy.It plays an essential role in the achievement of the goals for New Curriculum Policy.In the process of New Curriculum Policy implementation,school is the final stage which attaches great importance to the reform of New Curriculum.As for the executors and target group,the consensus of the school administrators and teachers for New Curriculum Policy is closely related to the efficiency of New Curriculum Policy Implementation.On the basis of "Smith Policy Implementation Theory",the thesis is focus on explaining the features and significance of New Curriculum Policy Implementation at school by the means of questionnaire,interview and observation.The thesis describes the background and the status quo of New Curriculum Policy Implementation for English at M school.Then,the thesis states all the problems that exist in the implementation of New Curriculum Policy and analyzes these problems from the following perspectives:the New Curriculum Policy,executing organization,target group and circumstances.Finally,the thesis shows the features of New Curriculum Policy Implementation at school, and some suggestions are given to solve the related problems.
