With the development of the society, more and more problems of the vocational education have appeared, such as divorcing from the reality of vocational students, neglecting to develop their ability and putting more emphasis on teachers'"teaching"than students'"learning". However, The aim of the thesis is to form a new teaching method, that is"Guided Learning Plan"teaching method, which gives full play to the vocational students as main parts and teachers as leading parts and puts quality-oriented education and curriculum reform into practice. In addition, combining the characteristics of vocational students with the current reality of maths teaching, this thesis mainly clarifies this point that teachers should direct students to explore and study by themselves. That is to say, we are trying to transform"passive receiving"into"active learning"so as to cultivate their creative awareness and self-study ability in maths study. The most important issue of this thesis is to find out a way to practice"Guided Learning Plan"teaching method and to testify its practicality and possibility. So that in application it can provide a theory basis and practical guide for maths teaching refomation in vocational school.This thesis is made up of five sections. Section One puts forward the background and the significance of the study of"Guided Learning Plan"in vocational school. In addition, it also summarizes some case study achievements and successful experience both at home and abroad, and then expounds the contents and methodology of this thesis. Based on study theories as Humanistic Learning theory, Constructivism Learning Theory, Discovery Learning Theory and other theories, Section Two gives us a detailed explanation of the teaching method including it's background information in vocational school and main contents. According to the research and analysis of the situation of vocational maths teachers, maths teaching and learning, Section Three brings forth the point that it is necessary and possible to practice the teaching method of"Guided Learning Plan"in vocational school. Section Four is about how to practice the teaching method, which includes designing the study cases, implementing principles and procedures. Section Five's stress is laid on the experimental case study of this teaching method. The author carries out some experiments in appropriate classes so as to testify its teaching effect and the function of this teaching method in improving the students'maths performance, training their learning enthusiasm and improving their self-study ability.
