With the developments of the economic globalization and cultural diversified, the material life of human-beings is more and more abundant. However, with the rapid development of the economics, the society and people's material life, the hedonism, money worship, the personal egoism and so on are spreading unceasingly, which is causing the inner world of human-beings is more and more deficient. In real life, many people are confused to life, pursue for high-quality material life, and pay little attention to the pursuit of the values and meanings of life. Under this background, all countries pay more and more attention to the human life, Life Education begins to develop rapidly all through world.Life Education is a deep concern about lives of individualists in real world,a creation for life and a certain kind of research in behavior. In recent years, there are more and more college students ignoring life such as committing suicide, injuring other people and despising the values of life. In our country, although Life Education has been researched in some certain degree, but has not been paid enough attention to, and has not established a complete system .Pursuing the research about Life Education of college students and building a complete system of Life Education on college students is an urgent mission in front of educators in our country. Based on this point, this paper begins with the concept of Life Education and elaborates the necessity of Life Education, the principle, the aim and the content of Life Education as well as some implementary measures for Life Education in details. The article is totally divided into five parts:In the first part, the article combs the background of research on college students, the significance of the selected topic, the domestic and foreign researches, as well as the aim of the research and the researching-methods of the topic.In the second part, the article elaborates the connotations of life and Life Education scientifically, as well as the views on life in China and abroad at all times and all through the world. It established an theoretical foundation for launching Life Education deeply.In the third part, the article discusses the necessities of carrying out Life Education in universities. First,the author makes a basic understanding through the example scanning and the investigation to the present situation of college students, and then searches for the deep-seated reasons from four aspects: social culture, school education, family education and the students themselves.In the forth part, the article expounds the idea, the aim as well as the main contents of Life Education on college students. It theoretically has carried on the construction to the Life Education on university students from three aspects; In last part, the author puts forward proposals on how to perform Life Education, in order to lead them to care for themselves,promote the realm of life, enrich the meanings of life, exhibit the values of life and realize the values of their life.The realm of education should be of three stages: to transform knowledge, enlighten wisdom, and enrich the life. But unfortunately, education nowadays in our country is too utilitarian, which has to still remain in the primary stage, yet what should have been focused on, to enlighten wisdom and enrich life, are ignored seriously. So it is high time that Life Education attempted to pay more attention to domains on the edge of the modern education and to play the fundamental role to enlighten wisdom, and to enrich life. Only Life education can direct the human from prostrating oneself to the knowledge to moving toward to wisdom, which can help people dwell on the earth with poetic sentiments.
