Verfremdung Theory ,which is put forward by Brecht against"resonance" of the traditional drama, emphasizes that giving the works an unusual feature by the means of Verfremdung to induce the reader to consider more profound and achieve a higher level of awareness.He holds that to innovate audience ,drama should get rid of the"illusion"control by"historic"to make the audience get out of the works after immersing, evaluate and judge with a critical position,calmly. This is to say that actors, roles and the audience maintain a certain distance. As a creative concept, Verfremdung has paved a road of appreciation so that wo could trace it down to reach the other side of appreciation.Reviewed by Verfremdung Theory,the teaching of Chinese reading reveales three weaknesses: the fragmented and dislocation between form and content, the contradictions and collisions between the sensibility and rationality, the divorce and rebel between the thought and action.With the advocacy of the subjectivityby humanism and the affirm of the subjectivity by the debate between"instrumental and human nature of Chinese", the teaching of Chinese reading threw away the worship of the "knowledge and skills", concerned about the"emotional attitudes and values"increasingly and even arose a number of imbalances and paranoid gradually with the reform and practice of humanities. Therefore, I introduce Brecht's Verfremdung Teory to the teaching of Chinese reading in order to find a breakthrough in the new teaching.Considering that"Verfremdung"looks the effect which is put by the drama on audience as the center,teaching of Chinese reading should look the effect put by the text on students as the center and look"human"as the starting point and destination of education. With the Verfremdung reading, I hope to establish the dominant position of students, awaken the critical awareness of students, cultivate a sense of innovation and the character of practice.In order to guide the teaching of Chinese reading effectively, I re-construct the reading system thought the three aspects:the purpose, the elements and the process.Firstly,the purpose of the reading teaching is to break up the control of the sensibility and made the students develop a critical position.Secondly,the process of reading teaching is a kind of "disruption" of the arts, creative, relaxed and as a mental process,it is Two-way and cross-cutting,not only to"get inside",but slso"get outside". Finally, I analyse three elements of the teaching system: the text is a strange form with the Verfremdung characteristics and an open structure ,whose form and Content are seamless blending,and the sensibility and rationality are interwoven unaware; Students,the perfect combination of thinking rationally and savouring emotional, have a dual role -evaluator and the experience;Teachers are critical text readers,the creator of"Verfremdung"classroom ,the guider and organizer of studying, a reflector from the reading teaching.On the basi of theoretical construct of the system , I bring about four teaching strategies and analyse with cases. Firstly, it is necessary to rely on the Verfremdung nature in reading. Text, because of its Verfremdung nature,can inspire the students feel poetically,so teachers should reconstruction the image through the emotional text form in the teaching process. Also, unlimited implication of the text are conveyed by"Verfremdung"form to the readers, so we should come out to explore the profound meaning behind text though the form. Secondly, with a critical position ,read out the problem, read out their own.Text and readers are uncertain, they can be construction at each other's reading. Therefore, the students should take a critical stance toread and have their own views and questions on texts. Teachers should teach students to punctuate immediately, to stimulate students in the discussion, to guide students with"skillful". Thirdly, to care the students life by"historical"reading. The text,not established, continuous generat and surmount , with the repeated reading and the change of time.We want to expand a variety of texts possibility,make self-reflection and guide living.Finally, activate the classroom by Verfremdung teaching methods.teachers arouse the curiosity of students thought the"Verfremdung"of teaching Situation, teaching content, teaching language.
