Education practice is an inevitable stage for a student teacher as a pre-teacher when she starts the education career. In the entire process of education internship, each student teacher will be instructed by their corresponding mentor teachers. It can be said that the mentor teachers are significant others in the process of kindergarten education practice and the interaction between student teachers and mentor teachers is one of interaction between teachers and teachers. To a large extent, the success is impacted by the interaction between student teachers and mentor teachers. However, the current research about this is relatively little. The study that aims to research the interaction between student teachers and mentor teachers provides a new perspective for professional development of teachers and enrich the kindergarten interaction study.By the research methods of interviews and observation, the study in-depth analyzes interaction subjects and interaction process between student teachers and mentor teachers, as well as the factors affecting their interaction.The researcher collects and analyzes 245 cases about student teachers' interaction with the mentor teachers and the 13 kinds of interaction themes are summarized, six of which are initiated by the student teachers and seven of which are initiated by mentor teachers. In addition, the characteristics of these themes are analyzed as well.The researcher demonstrates the interaction process through a case of student teacher and her mentor teacher and divides the process into three stages in accordance with different characteristics in the course of the interaction, namely, "cognition adaptation phase", "teaching interaction phase, " and " reflection and conclusion phase."The researcher concludes eight factors affecting the interaction of both parties through interviews with 8 student teachers and 4 mentor teachers, namely: personal attributes, communication, position of roles, age gap, professional background, gender, key events, other personnel factors.Finally, based on the above findings, the researcher offers some advices to student and mentor teachers, normal colleges and kindergartens...
