Personality is one of the essential issues in education. The community is formed by individuals according to the stated social relationship. If the society needs to be survived and developed, the individuals in this community must form a fixed personality, that is to say, a social member should have a basic character and holistic image. As a social movement which is uesd to realize the development of the individuals' body and mind, education leads a dominant part in the formation of the personality. The coming of the continous developing society impersonally demand the common altitude education pay attention to the lifetime development of each student, inspire the students' the desirability of lifetime learning and induct senior high school students' to form the ability of consideration independently. The Chinese teahing course of senior high school in the new century is faced with the new requirement. The actualize of the new teaching course accommodates the requirement on time. We should pursue the merit of education and at the same time, fully exert the inimitable function to improve students' personality. All of senior high school students should obtain the accomplishment that is needed in Chinese learning and they must form the ability of tasty and study to establish the foundation of lifetime learning and personality development.Through an in-depth study, the research firstly put forward the aim of personality teaching, then analize the advantage and signification of it. The paper tries to put four steps in the following to help the researchers make some improvements and learn when and in what procedure shall adopt it in class in the future. In the end, the paper tries to find out the implications of this research for teaching and further research.
