The human is the subject or the potential subject. The teacher and the student are active factors in the educational practice; the building between them is certainly associated with the view of subject, which is the theoretical support of the relation between teacher and student. The treatise is based on the study of the subject; the arrangement of outcome from the subject studies is divided into three levels, which are the philosophical parts, philosophical parts in education and practical parts in instruction. Then I find the recognition of the subject is only limited to the individual subject and the outcome of study is not enough to understand subject issues. So the discuss on the relation between teacher and student mostly bases on the view of individual subject. In fact, there is more than one kind in subject, each one of which displays its own trait. The concept of subject denotes one sort of connection, once it is discussed, we must put it in some practical actions. After analyzing the existing outcome of study on subject and the relation between teacher and student in being, this treatise introduces that the building of relation between them must refer to instruction practice. The home of the growing both the teacher and the student is the instruction practice, once deviating from it, and the building of the relation loses its basis. This paper introduces the concept of instruction subject, which is the actual subject of instruction practice. It is also a kind of community subject, developing from the interaction of teacher and student. Each of them can not exist in the form of individual subject. At the same time, the instruction subject is a system, in which both the teacher and the student are one part. In the view of the instruction subject, the relation between the teacher and the student in the instruction practice is democratic and equal. But, after arranging the current situation of relation between teacher and student, I find the situation is not satisfying. In any event, the democratic and equal relation between teacher and student should become the dominant trend in the development. Such view is based on the analyzing of that from educational theorists and the practitioners. The conclusion is anticipated to produce some theoretical and practical meanings. The presentation of the instruction subject bases on the building of democratic and equal relation between teacher and student. I also expect that the educational practitioners can make such thought become actual actions on their own.
