On one hand, with the coming of the new era of knowledge economy, passive learning isn't appropriate in today's development. But on the other hand, nowadays it's still the main method of class teaching.While we see the negative side of this method ,we should also recognize the reasonable and practical functions in its long history of development.However, in the exam-oriented maths teaching of today,enforcement of the Research Learning is not satisfying. Because it's hard for students to master all the knowledge that is the fruits of human's culture through thousands of years while experiencing all the reseach processes.Besides, some knowledge is hard to be designed as activities for research learning. And also a lot of knowledge is rather too difficult and requires challenge. It'll also take a lot of time to start Research Learning,but it's so hard in current teaching system.Here, I think Research Learning should be combined with traditional maths learning to develop the strenghs and make up for the weaknesses.Only through multi-learning methods can students develop entirely and harmoniously in knowledge and skills, process and method, attitudes and values.Then students can gain benefits both nowadays and future development.The thesis is divided into five parts. First of all the paper posts that research study is a way of learning, teaching strategy, curriculum form and give defintion to the Research Learning. Second, compare the two methods of maths teaching in background, characteristics, advantages and disadvantages to make them benefit from each other. Third, illustrate the princiiples and strategies of the combination of these two methods and use a teaching case to give further explanation. Four, based on the previous principles,I have done a further research for one year to examine whether the combination is not only beneficial to students' command of basic knowledge but also cultivate their ability of creativity and practice. Finally, the paper takes into account the results and several problems about the implement of research study.The paper uses a maths class as a case and does research on the strategy of combination of traditional and research learning in senior high school curriculum through personal teaching practice.I try to make sure that the majority of students have a good command of basic point and also cultivate their whole development within the limited teaching time.Hope the research will further strenthen the understanding of objective principles of education to gain some effective means in teaching, thus providing the research for many teachers'reference and comments.
