Nowadays, chemistry teaching combined with information technology is one of the hotspots in the field of chemistry teaching. How to understand the ideology and approaches of combination, and how to put them into practice is a big issue researchers are faced with. This thesis deals with the theory, process and the application of the Internet-based chemistry teaching design. The aim and significance of the research are also covered. This thesis gives an overview of the research into the Internet-based chemistry teaching design, and then an in-depth study is made on the connotation and the pattern of the Internet-based chemistry teaching in a new era when the chemistry teaching is aided and combined with information technology. Hence an Internet-based chemistry teaching pattern is constructed. This pattern embodies the ideology of the combination of the information technology and the chemistry teaching, and is doable.The thesis has three parts:The first part is Introduction. In this part the background of the research is talked about, and several related conceptions are defined. It also gives an overview on the status quo on this subject in China. The aim and the significance of the research is also explained in this part.The second part is the construction of the Internet-based chemistry teaching. Several learning and teaching theories are introduced, which is followed with the introduction of some common teaching design. Hence, according to the analysis of the characteristics of the Internet and chemistry teaching, the Internet-based chemistry teaching design pattern comes up. After some explanation to this pattern, the strategies in application are also discussed.The third part is the application research. The author gives a case to analyze the effect in teaching practice.At last, the author concludes and reflects the conclusion of the research and also raises some problems which need further research.
