With the development of the social technology and the improvement of the economy and the culture, education plays an important role in the development of the society. Accompanying the popularity of the modern information technology, the gradual change of the existing surroundings, the transformation of the family system and the invading of the multiple culture, many problems occurred during the physical and the psychological development in modern children, which affect their growth and their value orientations.There are much attention to the child research in and out of country, which focus on the following topics, such as the children's physiological development, the children's psychological research, the children's social cultural research and the children's educational development. The child research curriculum set up in Japanese University which is based on the actual child development, involves the child physical and psychological development theory, child environment research, child social and cultural research, child welfare and social support research. This curriculum can make the student get the better understanding of the child development, help the child solve the different kinds of problems during the growth and be capable of improving the child grow up healthily.There haven't set up the child research in our universities. The future teachers of the child education are the students majoring in pre-school and primary school education. The period of the primary school is the important one. If the primary school teachers have a clear and correct understanding of the child physical and psychological development, they can improve the child education and the child physical and psychological development. Because of the complex and changing social surroundings, the children themselves receive huge stress, which made lots of problems. According to the study, many primary school teachers haven't mastered the corresponding theory to cope with the problem yet. There are quite a few child research curriculums in our universities, therefore the teachers are lack of child development theory, which result in that they failed to know the child physical and psychological development and to solve the related problems. So the writer thinks it is necessary to set up the curriculum about child development theory and about child problem-solving strategies, to improve the teacher's professional development. The child research curriculum set up in Japanese university has enlightenments to our primary school education curriculum setting and curriculum development.The paper includes three parts:The first part is about the generalization of the child research, which reviews the content of the child research.The second part is to analyze the child research curriculum of Japanese University, in order to know the basic direction of the child research.The third part is based on the general picture of primary school education curriculum setting in our country and the status quo of the children in our country. The writer suggests setting up the child research column in the primary school education in our country.
