| As an important part of modern education, the secondary vocational education is the best combination of economy and construction. It can serve for economy and construction more directly and definitely. It is an important way to propel social development and drive labour force to take up an occupation. The status and development of the teachers'quality concern the fate of vocational education directly. The teachers are the key to do well vocational technology education and assure school teaching quality. They are the first factor among the three factors (teachers, teaching books and facilities) to make a good job of the vocational technology schools. The vocational education teachers will undertake more responsibilities during renewing the social productivity standard and improving the labour force's quality in economic society. Their special technologies are more complicated than common teaching occupations. So it is more important and urgent to propel vocational education teachers'development and growth. As a teacher, I have been teaching many years in a vocational school. And I often feel puzzled about the special teaching in vocational schools. My aim in this research is to unfold vocational school teachers'occupation characteristics, teaching characteristics, developing content and characteristics, developing status and occurring problems by looking into the teachers who are now teaching in Chengyang Vocational Education Center of Qingdao and interviewing several typical cases. I hope to cause the society, educational department and the teachers themselves who are engaged in vocational education to pay attention to the teachers'growth. And I hope them to look for the reasonable countermeasure together, to drive the teachers to develop healthily, to propel the vocational education's development.This research unfolds the developing contents and characteristics of the teachers who are teaching in vocational schools by theory and literature in the second chapter. The teachers'development means mostly the teachers'development of speciality. The developing contents of teachers in vocational schools include knowledge, capacity and quality. The characteristics of teachers in vocational schools include occupation characteristics, teaching characteristics and developing characteristics. In the third chapter, the status and occurring problems of vocational school teachers'speciality development are unfolded through actually surveying and interviewing, analysis and argumentation and summary. In the forth part, aiming at the Chengyang Vocational Education Center teachers'status in speciality development aspect and combining generally occurring problems of secondary vocational school teachers, I explore out the countermeasure to propel the vocational school teachers'speciality development. |
