As the traditional mode of Chinese teaching, the core of teaching in mind of the ancient poetic text has a long history. However, since the"May 4th", the teaching of ancient poetic text has been declining, and the traditional language education is unsustainable. In the 20th century, the essence of excellent traditional culture is disappearing with the dross of the classical culture discarding. Traditional culture and humanism culture are losing.Ancient poetic text has its own special value: It can edify people's temperament and cultivate the right spirit; It can also create a complete personality and the ability of appreciation. By reading excellent ancient poetic text, students are able to understand the Chinese culture so that they can cultivate the national self-confidence, the humanistic spirit of national and the independence. With the cultural tastes upgrading, students consciously assume the mission to advocate the Chinese civilization and the national spirit and promote society progress and economic development.Young students'physiological mechanisms and ways of thinking are obviously changing in the junior stage when the students are still at the peak of memory. The core of ancient text in mind with understanding is necessary for students.However, the core of ancient text in mind is precisely the difficulty point in secondary schools. Because of impacts of teaching materials and methods, evaluation and other factors, the core of teaching in mind of the ancient poetic text has little effect. This paper will be divided into five chapters to describe junior poetic language teaching in mind. In the preparation of teaching materials, the staff should pay attention to the transition and the join between each grade and incarnate the systematic, layer delivery and pertinence of the core of teaching in mind. The whole community needs to create a good atmosphere for reading ancient text so that students can be infected by the traditional classical culture and it can influence the value tropism in the entire society to make education truly focus on the development of an individual, the future of the nation and the civilization of mankind's heritage.This paper will explore the value, the characteristics and the methods of the core of teaching in mind of ancient text as well as the factors and measures which can impact this kind of teaching mode.
