Literature is an art of language. The language takes the main position in literature. Facing so many selected works on the new edition of teaching materials, the teaching language for middle school students is becoming more and moreimportant. This article will study this at a new angle, according to the opinion and creative works of Wang Zengqi, linked with the modern western theory of literature. It will clarify the revelation of Wang Zengqi's view about literary language about Chinese teaching in middle school in two aspects by reading and writing compositions. Thus, based on the former experience of teaching and learning, the recognition of the meaning of literary language itself should be deepened and the special significance of language in Chinese teaching for middle school students. The whole article contains four sections. The first section includes three viewpoints about literary language. The theory as a tool of literary language lays more stress on the content of thoughts than the form of language. It is believed that the language is only a form. The theory of thing-in-itself literary language insists that there is the significance of literary language itself. According to Mr. Wang's view, the content of thoughts in literature works lies in literary language, filled with writer's various feelings. At the same time, thing-in-itself owns its particular importance and value of aesthetic. The second section explains the character of literary language. It tells us that Mr. Wang's view has a side of the theory of implied formalism, using discussion from the Russian formalism by the means of artistic treatment of daily language, in order to create an effect that seems ordinary but in fact unusual. The third section analyses Mr. Wang's artistic meaning of putting the view of literary language into effect on the practice of literary creation, linked to theremarks of the writers and arguers of ancient and modern. It interprets the poetic beauty of literature in four aspects as implicative beauty, pedestrian beauty, suggested beauty and flowing beauty. The fourth section inquires into how Mr. Wang's view of literary language inspires the Chinese teaching in middle school as follow:Fist, teaching by reading in middle school should be overseen by Mr. Wang's view of literary language. For the problem of the dismembering and ignoring of the teaching of literary language in teaching by reading for middle school students, it is necessary to pay attention to the hidden rich implication of literary language when teaching by reading. Besides, it's also useful to lay stress on the description of scenery.Second, teaching by writing compositions in middle school should also be overseen by Mr. Wang's view of literary language. Fix your eyes on life, and be an expert at precipitating the emotion from daily life. Pay close attention to the exercises on rhetoric, and learn the rhetoric usage in a whole paragraph or passage. Be good at mixing the methods of random mixing, diction words, from China and foreign countries as well as both refined and popular tastes organically, making the articles beautiful in both the content of thoughts and the form of language. The article ends with reviewing Wang Zengqi's lingering charm of literary language's poetic flavor. In this sense, to train artistic perception and literary language taste of the students is necessary. Literary language teaching ought to become one of the most important parts of Chinese teaching for middle school students.
