The promulgation of the new curricula and the increasingly deepening reform of classroom teaching are getting most teachers more perplexed about the question of what the criteria of a well-conducted lesson are. A questionnaire indicates the universality of the above mentioned problem(eg. lack of the right demensionality suited to the criteria), thus the urgency and actual significance of the research are obvious. The present thesis deals with the research on the topic, by means of comprehensively drawing on the relevant documents and briefly reviewing the historical evoluction in the field for the past six decades. And on the basis of pedagogic and psychologic theories, the criteria dimensionality of a well-conducted lesson have been constructed. Meanwhile interviews with teachers have also given some revelation in practice concerning the construction of a well-conducted lesson.Based on the theoretical construction and practical revelation, this writer puts forward a Pyramid Model for the criteria dimentionality (eg. sound expertise, student-centred awareness, generativeness, integrativeness and totality ), with the hope of facilitating the education reform in a healthy manner.
