The article explores the status and function, aim, content and method of the law-related education in the course of ideology and politics in senior high school in order to make the course of ideology and politics in senior high school play the liable role in the law-related education. Except the introduction and tag, the article consists of six part.Part one defined the concepts of rale of law and the law-related education. Firstly, the meaning of rule of law is made clear through introducing the different explain to the rule of law in the East and the West. Secondly, the meaning of law-related education is explained through comparing the concepts of law-related education, legal system education and law-popularized education.In part two, it is illustrated the historical process of the law-related education in the moral education in senior high school and its basic experiences and existing problems. In the first place, the research explores the outset and progress of neoteric law-related education in the moral education in senior high school in china and its flexural process of development in the People's Republic of China. In the second place, it is summed up the basic experiences and existing problem of law-related education in the moral education in senior high school. There are three basic experiences: the first is the law-related education has always been the comprising part of the moral education in high school from the view of course arrangement; the second is the law-related education not only has the required course but also has the elective from the view of course type; the third is the law-related education mainly adopted the teaching method of penetration from the view of the teaching method. There are three problems: one is the law-related education in senior high school is influenced too much by the political factors; another is the law-related education in the moral education in senior high school is neglected in the whole phase of high school; the third is the law-related education in china is not an education of the consciousness of law but an education of general law knowledge.Part three explores the status and function of the law-related education in the course of ideology and politics in senior high school. Firstly, the article uncovers the status of the law-related education in the course of ideology and politics in senior high school by researching the relations between the law-related education in the course of ideology and politics in senior high school and the other education in the course of ideology and politics in senior high school and the work of law-related education in the school. Secondly, the article points out three functions of the law-related education in the course of ideology and politics in senior high school. The first is it is the main channel of making people realize the socialization in the perspective of human development; the second is it is the basic approach of cultivating and supporting the culture of law in the perspective of the construction of state under the rule of law; the third is it is the important route of preventing the crime of young person in the perspective of the problem of young person development.Part four makes exploration into the aim system of the law-related education in the course of ideology and politics in senior high school. Firstly, the article points out cultivating the quality of law of student are the total aim of the law-related education in the course of ideology and politics in senior high school. Secondly, the article puts forward to three concrete aims. The first is mastering the law knowledge which is the basic aim; the second is shaping the ability of exert the law knowledge which is the key aim; the third is building up the attitude, sensibility and the value of the rule of law which is the core aim.In part five, the article studies the arrangement of the law-related education in the course of ideology and politics in senior high school. In the first place, the research analyzes three content construct principles of the law-related education in the course of ideology and politics in senior high school including the unification of subject knowledge and student life, the unification of foundation and selectivity and the unification of the law criterion,law principle and law concept. In the second place, the research analyzes two present ways of content of the law-related education in the course of ideology and politics in senior high school: one is the independent course of law-related education, another is the course penetrating in the moral education course. In the third place, the article explores the basic contents of the law-related education in the course of ideology and politics in senior high school including the essential law concept, the essential principle of main branch law and the idea and principle of the rule of law. Finally, aimed at the content of the law-related education in the course of ideology and politics in senior high school after the eighth curriculum reform, the article studies two case including the content of the law-related education of The Standard of the Course of Ideology and Politics in National General Senior High School (Experiment) and The Standard of the Course of Ideology and Politics in Shanghai High School (Experiment).Part six makes the exploration into the methods of the law-related education in the course of ideology and politics in senior high school. Firstly, the article explores its methods as a whole. Secondly, the article researches respectively the penetrating teaching method in the course of moral education and case teaching method in the independent course of the law-related education.Finally, the article puts forward to the innovations and deficiencies and the problems deserving further study of the thesis in the tag.
