Rearing students of creative moral integrity of subjectivity (MIS) is not only the demand of our times but also the main target and new idea of the school moral education. Being subjective and developmental, modern moral education has distinctive effect on cultivating moral integrity and must take it as the orientation. The thesis makes an approach to fostering the MIS of high school students from three aspects:Part one An analysis is firstly made about the definitions of personality and moral integrity, so as to make clear the basic meaning and main features of MIS, which is the personality of acting on one's own, supporting oneself, being independent, and being free. And a further one is made about the basic elements including the demand, consciousness and capacity of making independent choices and morality intuition.Part two The author expounds in system the practical necessity of cultivating the students'MIS in moral education of high school, which is the basis of realizing the goal of moral education, the inevitable choice of moral education in current social background, the effective approach to helping students solve contradiction in their morality progress. Describing the performance of high school students when they lack the MIS and analyzing various misconceptions and reasons in retarding the formation of it, the author advances his viewpoint about the misconceptions that traditional moral education values the indoctrinization but depreciates the experience; there is gap between moral education and virtuous life; the compulsory education suppresses the right education. Analyzing the characteristics of moral integrity, the author puts forward the possibility of cultivating the MIS of high school students.Part three Combining with the analysis of misconceptions and reasons in Part two, the author expounds the goal, content, principle and approach to MIS. The goal is to foster such person with independence, initiative and creativity. In order to cultivate the students'MIS, we should enhance the students'subject consciousness and ability to make a choice by themselves. Two main principles are the integration of moral education with self-education, and with psychological education. Finally, the author suggests the channels and measures to cultivate the MIS of high school students, that is renewing the moral education conception; reforming its content; changing its mode, enforcing moral education online; reinforcing the practice in ethics, making the moral education common in life; making use of the features of extracurricular activities to foster the personality.
