The elementary education curriculum has been reformed since the beginning of the 21th century in our country. Among them ,the research learning is becoming the main way of practical curriculum teaching. For students how to solve the problems and for teachers, how to make the research learning in the real situation; enable the research learning take on the open, the main, the comprehensive and the practical. That's a challenge of teaching idea and teaching method.Guided by learning theory for biology and using content of biology knowledge, the article tries to establish the research learning pattern which incarnates characteristics of learning biology by combining literature, experience with the way of comparison. To understand the research learning from the humanism and construction idealism in learning theory for biology; to understand functional localization and final goal in learning theory for biology from a new learning point of view; it's important to understand the teaching methods and patterns from the new learning view of expansion and the aesthetic aspects. Five modes have made under the learning theory for biology; and the teaching strategy for research learning has been developed.
