Chinese teaching,witch focuses on cultivating people,is a part of Chinese culture education.It bases on the existence and development of people.Being the major period of Chinese teaching system,high school Chinese teaching takes on the most important duty and significance.It influences on the improvement of people's genuine value and makes it possible for people to have a mature aesthetic view towards liafe.This thesis mainly explores an aspect of high school Chinese tesching----novel appreciation.In order to solve the problems existing in present high school novel teaching and meet the need of modern education ,this thesis puts from and the possibility of wising modern narrative theory to reform the present Chinese novel teching in everyday teaching.It points out how to use modern narrative theory according to morderate principle in high school novel appreciation teaching.It searches for the way that high school Chinese teaching can revive to Chinese culture education,as well as the possibility of applying modern literary and art theory to high school Chinese teaching.
