| The social public morality is the basic ethics people should abide by in the public life. The social public morality, the lowest ethics, is indispensable in any era of any society. In the new era of socialist modernization of our country, the social public morality plays a more important role and has embodied individual morality and civilization, along with the enlarging of the area of public life, the rising frequency of communication. The college students, the special group with a great store of knowledge and morality, have the pertential to behave in a moral way which is necessary for the students to face the society and develop themselves in every aspect on the one hand, it is the inherent part of the morality education in the universities that the college students are cultivated to have a high level of public morality. The level of the public morality and the scientific culture of the modern college students will influence the realization of the spiritual civilization and the strategic purpose of modernization. The society expects higher morality of the college students. It plays an important role in their own development and the social improvement that the college students abide by the social ethics.First , the thesis introduces the basic theory of the social public morality through reference—study, including the definition, content, features and functions of social public morality . Second, it roves the necessity for the college students to abide the social public morality mainly through the demonstration of cases from the personal subjective conditions, individual needs and social needs. The thesis trys to illustrate how the college students behave with social public morality in their mind and practice accurately, analyzes the actuality and comments it objectively and finds why there is something wrong with all the college students: their superficial understanding of social public morality , cold feelings for social ethics weak will to observe social public morality and separation of theory and act, etc. Third, it mainly analyzes why there is something wrong with the college students'social morality in the recent years. According to my research, there are various reasons that have caused a lack of social morality. It is not only because of the passive influence brought by the whole social environment, but also because of the misleading and neglect of the education on social public morality in the school and the inefficiency of the family education. In addition, the incorrect self—consciousness of the college students is also a subjective reason that can not be overlooked. The most important reasons are the passive influences brought by the traditional moral culture, the market economy and the system of the social public morality and the vagueness of the school's recent education of the social public morality , the singleness of carrier and the fixation of its form, etc. In the end, it gives some suggestions to improve the college students's social public morality education based on the above analysis. In order to establish a good education about the college students'social public morality, I suggest that we should try to make full use of the functions of the society, school, family and the college students themselves, develop the advantages and avoid the disadvantages, learn from each other, form a fixed consciousness ahead of time and consciousness of responsibility, and establish a net of joining forces concerning the college students'the education of social public morality. We should speed up the process of establishing laws about social public morality , strengthen supervision by the masses with regard to the moral behavior, establish an complete encouraging system of social public morality . We should also optimize the cultural the content of the social public morality, give play to the advantages of the internet for the social civism education, and create new methods of the education of .the social public morality .In the family life, the parents must change their view to education that pays more attention to intelligence instead of morality, enhance their own quality and improve the method of family moral education. Besides the objective cultivation, the level of the college students'social public morality also relys on themselves. |
