Interest Theory In Applied Research, The New Physics Curriculum Implementation

According to the research, interest is one of the most important factors that affect the teaching. Developing students' interest in physics study is not only an important teaching method but also a teaching goal. At present it is still the important project about physics teaching research that how we use and develop the interest theory in our teaching practice. The interest in physics has four qualities-tendentious, lasting, effective and extensive qualities. The interest in physics is the important element of improving the study positiveness and achieving the effective teaching. To be brief, it plays a directional role, a delighted role, a reparable role, a consolidated role, a forceful role. Psychology research makes it clear that the process of people's interest development follow the periodic developing software. That is interest-pleasure—aspiration. It is concerned intimately with the psychological quality such as need, attention, determination, emotions and so on. Especially it can be used in the teaching process.I made a survey about some junior school students (Grade Eight and Grade Nine) and some senior school students (Grade one),it shows that there is a striking dissimilarity between them. The junior school students' interest in physics is higher than the senior school students'. The boys' interest in physics is higher than the girls'. The students' interest of the better classes is higher than the worse classes. My experiment research shows that using the interest theory and carrying out the new physics course can not only improve the students' interest, but also improve their grades. It is very helpful for physics teaching even for other subjects'teaching.
