Modern Distance Education Environment Adult Learners And Independent Learning

Since Ministry of Education carried out the starting of academic attainments of modern distance education from 1998, every experimental unit has actively explored the reformation of talented persons' cultivating pattern, and it has achieved great social benefits. But we should clearly know that enforcement organization of modern distance education and the distance education teachers cannot provide good services, and adult students' ability of autonomous learning is very low, so that it has brought about quality of network-based autonomous learning to decrease.Essentially, the quality about the adult students' network-based autonomous learning is the most substantial matter which decides modern distance education's success or failure. Therefore putting forward comparatively entirely countermeasures and suggestions of adult students' autonomous learning under modern distance education environment is the fundamental purpose of improving the quality of running a school of modem distance education.For this purpose, the author firstly comparatively broadly inquired into part universities and network educational colleges of the whole nation by the network, then carried out investigations with questionnaire, such as teaching parts of college of directly under Shandong TV University, Tengzhou and Yanzhou, and Study Center in Ningbo University of Network Educational Colleges of Xidian University, Dalian University of Technology and Shanghai Jiao Tong university. And then, the author summed up problems about the adult students' autonomous learning under the modern distance education environment after having carried out data statistics and analysis by using SPSS.Finally,according to that, from more microcosmic angle, on the basic of result researched, the author inquired into the aspects needed to be improved about the enforcement organization of modern distance education, distance education teachers and adult students oneself, and put forward some countenneasures and suggestions about the adult students' autonomous learning under modern distance education environments.
