Australian Vocational Education And Training System (vet) Research

The development of Vocational Education is one of the key strategies for China nowadays which requires reform and some breakthough. Learning and introducing mature and successful experience is urgently needed and it is also a necessary and practical choice for China.This dissertation was started based on the consideration above. After much comparison and contrast I finally choose Australian VET as the model China should learm from or follow. Australian VET has gain its international reputation so I am definitely sure that Australian VET can give Chian much reference and experience and benefit our VET reform. The dissertation first gives a biref introduction about Austrian Education system so that we can see the prominent position of its VET in its whole education system.Then foucus on the reforms of Australian VET since 80's, the dissertation introduces the whole pocess of the formation of the Australian VET. In the part that followed, the dissertation introduce and analysis the Australian VET in detail, including its AQF and NCS systems and specially emphasises the TAFE system ,a typical feature of Austrilan VET.I choose Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University(RMIT) as a case to illustrate the performance of Australian VET in a specific university.And in the last part I put forward some suggestions for reference to our own vocational education construction.
