As we entered the 21^st century, the society has now come into a brand-new period characterized by global integrative economy based on knowledge-economy and information technology. Therefore, in the new era, new demands have been pushed foreword. As a result, it has become an important task of the modern instruction to reform the traditional education principles and the outdated methods as well as establishing a kind of new education conceptions, and creating talents with innovatory spirits, creative ability and sufficiently developed personality.For the sake of changing this actuality, the teaching staff of the No. 5 middle school of Zibo Shandong province put forward the teaching model of"learn guided by the learning plan"through one year's practical experience. It is emphasized in the model that the students and their development should be the centre of teaching. The soul of the model is that students should study by themselves under teachers' guidance, and consequently, the students change the learning process from passively absorbing into initiatively discovering everything and mastering the scientific method and forming innovative consciousness and creative ability.
