The thesis of school-based curriculum development (SBCD) is originated from the main western developed countries in 1960s and 1970s. Because of the malpractice of center-based curriculum development (CBCD), SBCD is demanded to actualize democracy in curriculum decision. Recently, with the publication of the third-class curriculum management policy in our country, SBCD has already been a problem confronting schools and teachers. In 2005, new curriculum reformation is being thoroughly carried out in Jiangsu Province. Under the influence of the examination oriented educational system, SBCD concentrates on so-called side-subjects more often than not. Because this kind of subjects have always been considered as minor ones. If SBCD is to deal with these side-subjects, it will never affect students' main subjects and their performance in examinations. How to develop school-based on so-called main subjects, especially on Maths subject, requires more of both schools and teachers. A lot of problems in theory as well as in practice demand our exploration and researches.This thesis first analyzes the conception of SBCD, the historical track of SBCD, the way, the purpose and value of SBCD as well as its theoretical foundation.Then this thesis mainly talks about the process of SBCD based on Maths subject in a theoretical and practical way and then puts forward a development mode just for reference, that is, establishing an organization, analyzing the present situation, working out an object, drawing up a plan, experimenting on and implementing courses and at last evaluating and revising courses, based on which the thesis gives some suggestive cases on the level of schools and teacher groups in the attachment. At last, this thesis puts forward some questions about SBCD and offers some solutions to SBCD. |
