Under the background of the foundation education reform, all the members of Chinese Group in No I, Middle School of Huaning took part in "shiwu education research planning's main issue, "Pupils Essay Personalized Pevelopment Study ", that was conducted by China National Institute for Education Research. The purpose of this project is to explore the methods of essay reform. This essay is about the reform and it is consisted of the following parts :the purpose and the meaning of choosing the topic, the research aim and the theoretical basis, the research result and discussion.The issue is under the background of the foundation education reform .Its purpose is to change pupils essay and essay teaching's old pattern from the aspects of teaching theory, teaching principle renew and teaching thought.During this period, the research takes all kinds of research methods, such as action research methodology, education survey methodology. The research lasts two years and promotes students' cultivating innovation and personalized reading. Now it has achieved remarkable effect. Form the data we learnt that students take an interest on composition writting.The research has ended and stage result already completed, but composition education and the while foundation education needs further deepening .Therefore, the essay is developing, have no final period.
