The junior thesis teaching has now made great progress, but there are some questions. Teachers fear it meanwhile students are afraid of practicing. Teachers' obsolete ideas about writing and lack of proper teaching strategies lead to a state of an arbitrary schema. Gradually, the students are losing emotion and confidence in writing, thus causing the loss of writing as an important teaching content. Students' writing consciousness is in a state of hibernation.However, the sustainable development of life is to promote it in an initiative way. Education is the approach to motivate the effective and conscious development of life. Writing can encourage students to take an initiative part. Only by trying to arouse students' own willingness to voice, by bringing up their interest to communicate, and by motivating them to pick up their confidence in writing can teachers call forth their sense and need to express themselves, and onward make it the necessity of their life and study, so that they can write purposefully.Junior school students are quite plastic, so there is possible psychological foundation in training their writing ability. I have been trying to foster their self-consciousness of writing in my probationary teaching and what follows are some of the measures I've found out to improve students' writing willingness:1. to clear the significance of thesis teaching2. to recognize the goal of thesis teaching3. to assign topics for essays according to students' own willingness4. to start comprehensive activity, to establish situations, to find the origin and to introduce an active atmosphere5. to utilize various kinds of evaluation, including their own assessment6. to lose no chance for writing, making it a kind of need7. to demonstrate layer upon layer so that they pursue their higher aims8. to attempt collective creation, making writing no longer individual9. to change appraisal strategy by establishing thesis files...
