The research of new qualified teacher induction program is an important issue for discussion in the field of teacher education. It confirms the significance of induction from the point of view of grownup of students and the development of schools. The main idea of the thesis is that successful teacher induction program not only increase teacher's quality, but improve retention. America is a country whose new qualified teacher induction is comparatively well-rounded. In 2002, the new qualified teacher induction program reform, No Child Left Behind legislation went into effect which promotes the teacher's professional development. This thesis aims to explore the characteristics and tendency of the reform , thus tries to probe into some revelation for our country on this issue.There are 6 parts in this thesis: Part one explains the background, aims and the methods of the thesis and introduces some final related studies. Part two gives an overview and the setting of new qualified teacher induction program in America. Part three describes the content of new qualified teacher induction program reform in America. Part four discusses the details on the implementation of the reform. Part five summarizes the impact and effectiveness of the New Teacher Induction Program and the problems and reasons as well. In the last part, the issue of new teacher induction in our country has been discussed, including the achievements and problems. In addition, this part also tries to summarize the reference for the research and practice for new teacher induction of our country.
