At present, students of primary and high schools are becoming estranged from LuXun, even Chinese teachers are afraid of the teaching on Lu Xun. What leads to the result?Since the establishment of the P.R.C, the image of Lu Xun in primary school Chinesetextbooks has been existing with political ideology and up to now, which makes him agod-like sage and students keep a distance from him. The thesis, theoretically on the basisof Gosse's acceptance aesthetics and from its angle, probes into his image formation. Outof special historical background, different recognitions among Mr. Mao Zedong and LuXun's researchers resulted in the change of his image from the ideology to politicalideology. Therefore, reform must be given to the teaching on Lu Xun to eliminate hispolitical ideological image. As an educator, Lu gave lots of inspiration to our primaryschool Chinese teaching, either from his attitude towards the child or from his childteaching ideas and his writing. So teaching on Lu Xun and selecting his articles shouldcome from himself and return to himself. Only by experiencing him with our mind can weeliminate the misunderstanding to him. The purpose of the thesis is to learn andunderstand him with a new teaching conception of the 21st century and smooth away thedifficulties in Chinese teaching of primary and high schools, with the hope that, based onthe consideration of the former researchers and in the general background of teachingreforms, a new analysis is to be made so as to draw the attention of the researchers andeducators.Foreword: The topic is that teaching on Lu Xun has been lasting for half a centurysince the establishment of the P.R.C, but today there still remain some varied problemswhich lead to our reconsideration, esp. in the general background of teaching reforms. Ⅰ. Review Since the establishment of the P.R.C, the articles selected in primary school Chinesetextbooks are always the same. And furthermore, the explanations to the articles are givenaccording to the political struggle and social class struggle. The thesis analyses theacceptance in primary school Chinese teaching from the viewpoint of history and probesinto the formation of Lu's image. Out of special historical background, differentrecognitions among Mr. Mao Zedong and Lu's researchers resulted in the Lu's image withpolitical ideology, which still exists in the textbook. Therefore, he becomes estrangedfrom both teachers and students. The history of teaching on Lu Xun is also a history forgenerations of pupils to accept.Ⅱ. Inspiration Brought To Primary School Chinese Teaching By Lu XunAs an educator, in as early as his time, Lu put forward child teaching ideas for us. Hisviewpoint "children are taken as the most important factor" in teaching, his contributionsto child literature---translational works, and his writing pieces with the theme of children,make him play a vital role in modern education history. Much inspiration is brought toprimary school Chinese teaching by him.Ⅲ. ReformThe criterion to select Lu Xun's articles in primary school Chinese teaching is childpsychology, child literature, acceptance need, and quality & purpose of Chinese teaching.With them as reference coefficient, discussion of article selections should be made. Andfrom the angle of acceptance aesthetics, teaching on Lu Xun is to be probed into. First ofall, primary pupils should be made to learn about Lu Xun's childhood and hisgood-natured character, which serves as the first step of comprehension for students inhigh schools and universities to read his works. And then, classroom teachers are to makedialogues between the acceptance body and the textbook, and to extend reading outsidethe classroom as well. Only by returning to Lu Xun is he able to be learned better.Conclusion: At the present time, when Lu Xun is still misunderstood, it 's not a goodway not to select Lu's articles for the fear of the misunderstanding among primary pupils.Only when they get to learn about him, be familiar with him and think about him can theyeliminate their misunderstanding to him better.
