To establish a proper developmental evaluation system of quality is one of the coremissions of this course reformation. Some developed countries have done a lot of theoryand practical research on developmental evaluation. But with the influence of the state ofour nation, the education system and the examination system, the level of the research islow in our country, compared with many foreign countries. From 2004, new coursestandard for senior high schools is carried out in Shandong, Guangdong, Ningxia andHainan, so it becomes an urgent and important mission for educators to build up a studentevaluation system going with course reform. At present, little has been done on the theoryand practical research on the developmental assessment of Senior High students, especiallyin chemistry in Senior High. So the thesis on the developmental assessment of Senior Highstudents is to enrich the theory on curriculum evaluation of students and direct the practiceof chemistry teaching evaluation. The thesis, firstly, introduces the history of the domestic and international evaluationdevelopment and the developmental evaluation trend, including the serious irregularity ofcurrent course evaluation and examination system. Secondly it analyses the connotation andcharacteristics of the student developmental assessment and then raises the point that thedevelopmental student evaluation mode is an ideal mode and the direction of the studentdevelopment. Thirdly it puts great stress on analyzing its theory foundation of the studentdevelopmental evaluation, and also explains the theory basis from different aspects,according to multiple intelligence theory, constructivism learning theory, and humanismlearning theory and so on. Besides, the thesis mainly discusses the methods and also definesthe main purpose and main contents of putting the student developmental evaluation intopractice in Chemistry of Senior High. According to the actual chemistry teachingcircumstances in senior high schools, pluralistic assessment systems like informalassessment, paper test, activity performance assessment and portfolio assessment systemsare built up in the thesis, which also brings up practice principles on the developmentalassessment of students of the new standard chemistry.According to the construction of the theory, the first step has been taken in the teaching,and some evaluation models, which have been tested in experimental classes, havedeveloped through action. The result of the experiment shows that the developmentalassessment of students, which has become an inevitable choice for the development ofstudents, not only meets the need of students in developing fully but also is the root demandfor the advance and development in society. Only in this way can teachers and students getaway from the sea of examinations. So now it is necessary and viable to promote thedevelopmental assessment of students. Educators and teachers should renew the idea ofeducation, and establish the scientific ideas of students, education and development, andmaster some new assessment means. And we educators can come over the difficulties andreform step by step according to the present condition of students. In addition, if thedevelopmental assessment of students is combined with traditional assessment means, anew way will be found to meet the need of the developmental evaluation to go with thequality education. |
