As we all know, the Chinese knowledge is an important component part of the course contents. So the reform of the course contents means nothing but the one in the contents of Chinese knowledge as well as the teaching methods .The teaching of Chinese knowledge is playing an essential part in Chinese teaching .The present Chinese knowledge, however, narrowed or even old , which naturally leads people to have a great number of misunderstanding over the Chinese knowledge and its teaching methods. In order to improve the teaching of the Chinese knowledge, this article is intend to offer a new definition for it .That is, The Chinese knowledge includes not only traditional statements but programmed and tactful knowledge .The latter two kinds knowledge, a bridge to transforming knowledge into a variety of abilities, is just what is lacking in our teaching of Chinese knowledge for the time being . On the other hand, under the new cultural background , it is necessary for us Chinese teachers have a clear acquaintance with the characteristics of Chinese knowledge. Analyzing such characteristics can help us have a good understanding of the present situation in teaching. At the same time , it can else lead us to carry out the teaching of Chinese knowledge more effectively. The Chinese knowledge is not the same as others because it is considered cultural, moving and dependant .This article , based on the theory connecting with practice, mainly seeks the present situation and its reasons.
