Since the autumn of 2001, new curriculum reform has been launched in China. This reform is the deepest, the most comprehensive, and the most influential in the history of China's modern education, and has led to the drastic reforms in the aspects of education attitude, knowledge structure, educational modes, educational technology, values, and evaluation on talent. During the reform, more and more attention is paid to students'consciousness of life, subjectivity and independent participation. So the concept of"interaction"from sociology is borrowed to the field of education, and interaction teaching has developed gradually into an important content in the field of educational research. Art interaction teaching derives from the combination of interaction teaching research and subject teaching research. The thesis explores from the theoretical and practical perspective to provide support for the application of interaction teaching to art teaching at primary school, by studying the connotations, theoretical basis, teaching strategies of art interaction teaching.. Interaction refers to the interrelatedness and mutual influence between teaching subjects, teaching subjects and teaching texts, situational texts under the control of teaching targets. Interaction is only interrelatedness and mutual influence between teaching subjects, but also can be extended to teaching texts and situational texts. That is to say, in art teaching, mutual influence exists between teachers, students and teaching texts, situational texts. So, interaction teaching refers the teaching with interaction and motive force of teaching as its basic features, in a certain situation under the control of teaching targets. Art interaction teaching is the outcome of the combination of interaction teaching and art teaching, and the concrete realization of interaction teaching. The thesis focuses on the cultivation of students'subjectivity and independent participation in art interaction teaching, and argues that art interaction teaching is of importance in developing students'abilities to create, to express and to observe the world, and in shaping the spirit of humanity with the national characteristics.Art interaction teaching has a profound basis of philosophy and educational psychology. On the basis of the constructionist teaching theory, the thesis explores attitudes on situations, on collaboration and on the construction of meaning in art interaction teaching.
