Universities Adult Education Strategic Management Study

The governance is one of key issues for development of higher education. A best institution must have the best governance; the best governance is a necessary condition for achieving high quality of teaching and research. Strategic management thinking not only applies to beneficial organizations, but also nonprofits. This paper attempts a renovation research by applying business strategic management to college and universities practice, discussing the strategy and strategic management of adult training in colleges and universities, and initially studying its framework and content. The author hopes, with this paper, to arouse the interest and attention of the researchers of strategic management theory as well as the professionals adult training in colleges and universities administration, and supply some methods on how to scientifically implement strategic management for adult training in colleges and universities.This dissertation includes five sections:Introduction elaborates the purpose of this dissertation.Chapter one discusses concepts, nature, structure, significance and implementation principles of the strategy and strategic management for adult training in colleges and universities.Chapter Two concludes strategic analysis, strategic choice, strategy implementation and strategic evaluation and control. The first step of the strategic management for colleges and universities is to sure the mission and function of colleges and universities, the mission and function of adult training in colleges and universities are to educate and train high-quality talents, to accomplish scientific researches, to serve the society.Chapter Three analyzes the changes of the strategic circumstance of adult training in colleges and universities in the Peoples' Republic of China and its conditions, and comes up with the conclusion that thereexists strategic problems in colleges and universities, and it is necessary to introduce strategic management into the practices of adult training in colleges and university administration. It is also assumed that along with the economic reform and the reform of Chinese Higher education system. The strategic management will be more and more useful in the management of adult training in colleges and universities.Chapter Four talks about the methods on how to science apply the adult training in college and university strategy. The essence of the application of the strategy is to enhance the awareness of strategic-management. And meanwhile, the organization structure should be reformed. Moreover, the strategy application is closely associated with the campus culture of adult training in colleges and universities. The campus culture is a complex composed of each campus member with his unique vision. The end, the information is important to apply the adult training in college and university strategy, the college and university should constructive information system strategy.
