Perception: The Basis Of Basic Education

The power of comprehension, which is the important potential of our lives, is the foundation of students' mastering knowledge. So the power of comprehension is the foundation of elementary education, which is the result of reflection of being knowledge as the foundation of elementary education, and is traced the source from the perspective of human's life so as to make elementary education become the foundation of life study and life development.In the first part, the meaning and characters of the power of comprehension are described by analyzing the theories about it.In the second part, it is analyzed that there are two reasons that the power of comprehension is regarded as the foundation of elementary education. Firstly, being knowledge as the foundation of elementary education is reflected from the two aspects: students' being unable to master knowledge and neglecting the students' needs to life development. Secondly, being the power of comprehension as the foundation of elementary education is coped with the problems brought by being knowledge as the foundation of elementary of education because students' mastering knowledge is based on the power of comprehension, which is the important potential of our lives.In the third part, it is pointed out that the power of comprehension being as the foundation of elementary education is significant, which is analyzed from the following five aspects: it can help students to master knowledge, to develop students' creativity, to satisfy the needs of students' emotional development, to embody that students are the subjects of education, and to satisfy the needs of students' life development.In the forth part, it is discussed from three aspects: education valueorientation, students conception and teaching objectives that education ideas should be changed in order to make the power of comprehension be as the foundation of elementary education.In the last part, it is proposed suggestions from three aspects: teaching contents, teaching methods and teaching evolution to improve the power of comprehension being as the foundation of elementary education.
