With the adoption of reform and opening policy and the boon of the market econmy,people' smaterial and cultural life has been greatly improved and the consumption level elevates dramatically too. This change can undoubtedly be reflected through the consumption situation of mid-school students, and is sure to cause new variations to their consumption ideology, behaviors and nentelity of consumption. The morality on consumption, as the core of ideology of consumption, will directly guides the consumption behaviors and mentality, mid-school students are a special group whose expense mainly comes from their family. Their consumption morality is usually affected by consumption ethic from both their family and the society, especially from that of those students with different family background and consumption level.Mid-school students are on the way to from their view of life, worldview and view of value, and they possess super plasticity at their age. Although they are becoming independent or self-reliant,because of their immature mind, weak social cognition and discrimination, weak self-contreol and strong curiosity and imitating potential, they are easily influenced by the bad consumption fads.As a result, they are trapped into wrong consumption ideology, for exampLe, pursuit for high lecel consumption, belind competition on consumption ect. We should not underestimate these unfavorable behaviors and its effects.lt aggravates the economic burden of the family, worsens the relationship of the students and their parents, gives rise to bad results of the construction of family ethic ;what' sworse, it to some degree distorts the interpersonal relationship at school, brings about difficulties to schoolmanagement,furthermore disturbs the normal teaching arrangements. Finally to the student himself, the consumption morality formed at this time may have a life-long influence on his consumption behaviors and is closely related with his improvement of view of life, world view and wholesome personality.Hence, paying much attention to the new changes of the consumption morality of mid-school students, correctly guiding their consumption moral and behacior, will not only benefits to their healthy grouth but also enriches the content of guality education, and will be a good example for the correct guidance of consumption behaviors.Section one of this thesis introduces the general theory of consumption morality, including the connotation of consumption and consumption morality, the correlation between them and the necessity to enhance the education of consumption morality.Section two illustrates consumtion situation of contemporary mid-school students, and a moral evaluation of that will be given. Through the survey on consumption situation of the mid-school student, their consumption features and consumption mistakes will be revesled. Furthemore, an analysis on the reasons of the formation of the mistakes and its harm will be given. Finally we give a moral evaluation to the consumption situation of contemporary mid-school students.Section three of the thesis gives some proposals on the education of consumption moral of mid-school students. The consumption mistakes of the studens are caused by many different factors, so we should take kinds of actions simultaneously. This will be illustrated from school education,family education and social education.
