Individual study and Small-Group Discussion Learning are two different ways of learning in teaching classroom ,both the way could make students join the process of learning. Along with the development of Reforms for Foundation Education Course and the implement of learning way of "independence cooperation and research" which the Reforms for Foundation Education Course advice, Small-Group Learning has been advocated by teaching staff. According to the results of the sample, teachers in 89.1 percent of classroom teaching adopt the study way of "Discussion Learning", while the way of Individual study has the incline to ignorable. The abuse of Small-Group Discussion Learning makes the study way lack actual effect. For the ubiquity problem in teaching practice, the intention of this article is discuss the applicability of Individual study and Discussion Learning through the limitation and advantage of the couple of way of learning simple and complex biology concept in efficiency and delaying.In this research, which biology concept is simple and which is complex is first made sure. In order to testing biology concept of learning test papers about learning biology concept are designed. Second, the plan of bring up the habit of Individual Study and Discussion Learning is designed. The plan is used in teaching experimentation. After experimentation student will be test by the test papers. The test is carried out at intervals of a hour a day three days a week and two weeks after class. The results of the test were collected and analyzed. The efficiency and delaying about Individual study and Discussion Learning will be acquired. The result about experimentation indicate:l.Both Individual study and Discussion Learning have their advantages in accomplishing simple study assignment. The influence of two-study way on learning efficiency is not distinctness for whole class (Sig.=0.372).In efficiency coding for promote memory, Individual study is better than Discussion Learning. In accomplishing simple study assignment, the delaying of Individual study is better than Discussion Learning. After longer time the difference is distinctness gradually (Sig.=0.012) .So we conclude that the way of Individual study is fit for accomplishing simple studyassignment.2.In accomplishing complex study assignment the advantage of Discussion Learning is in evidence. It can promote learning efficiency of all class. The difference is sharply distinctness (Sig.=0.000).The study way of Individual is different from Discussion Learning in delaying: [1] In three days, discussion may improve visual memory and students will have profundity effect. The delaying of Discussion Learning is better than Individual study.[2] As the time going, the study way of Individual could make students go deep into think and be good for coding, so long time memory is promoted. The delaying is better than Discussion Learning. The difference achieves sharply distinctness (Sig.=0.000) after two weeks.So we conclude that for accomplishing complex study assignment adopting the way of Discussion Learning can heighten the study efficiency, make the time of two unit's memory longed.3.Both the way of Individual study and Discussionp Learning has its own advantage. The advantage is different in accomplishing different study assignment. Only the study assignment cooperated with proper way of learning can the advantage bring into play and promote the efficiency and delaying of learning effectively.
