The literature education in the Middle School' s Chinese class has gone through a tough road in the past 50 years. And gradually it plays a key role in the Middle School' s Chinese class. Clarification of the ideas will enable us to make great practice. The paper is to illustrate the literature education in the Middle School' s Chinese class from four aspects: First, the position of the literature education. It is an important means for the students to enhance their humane attainments. It is one of the certain components in the Middle School' s Chinese class. However, it doesn' t represent the whole Chinese teaching in the Middle School. Secondly, the content of the literature education. It covers the literature common knowledge education, the comprehension methods education, the literature language education and the developing rational thought. Thirdly, the standing point of the literature education. It includes the overall perception of the works, the acknowledgement of the works uncertainty and the aesthetic experience of the works 'Enjoying the nature' . Fourthly, the enforcement of the literature education. It is supposed to respect the students' principal part, to grasp the works completely, to pay special attention to cultivate the verbal sense and to value the functions of reading aloud.
