Abstract/Summary:
Since the day that computer came into this world, the researchers have been exploring the application of computers in teaching. During the last 50 years, computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) has experienced 3 periods which include the experimental period, popular application period and comprehensive application period and achieved some accomplishments. But according to the survey of national CAI application, our CAI still remains many problems such as insufficient understanding, lacking of administration, inferior quality of courseware, singular form and so on. Therefore, our nation has adopted a series of policies to popularize the use of CAI, which will positively charge the current situation of CAI and accumulate successful experience and methods for enhancing the level of education and promoting enforcement of all-round education. The thesis makes some primary exploration and study about CAI of math. Its main contents are as follows: Chapter I. The presentation of the question. It elaborates on the necessity and practicability of the study of CAIM in middle school in three respects: 1.The computers are more available in the families and schools for their lowering price and improving quality; 2. to meet the requirements of the ministry of education which calls for the execution of all-round education, a qualified teacher must master the modern teaching methods in his teaching .3.Ther're certain difficulties in explaining the math problems. While using the computer, it can pinpoint the crucial points, crack the hard points and enhance the teaching efficiency in classes. Chapter II. The basis of theory .At first, it gives the definition of CAIM in middle school—under the guidance of educational theory and the regularities of psychology, it integrates the contents of maths teaching and make the students learn voluntarily in interactive operation through the teacher's instruction. Then according to the theory of CAIM and with the development order of the time's requirements and features, it provides the activism theory, realism theory and constructivism theory, which are basic Guidant theory of CAIM.Chapter III. The theoretical study of CAIM in middle school. It elaborates on 3 aspects: 1.Thfe teaching form under the guidance of constructivism;2.The influence of math teaching that is cause by CAI;3.The principles we should obey in the CAI:①Student-oriented principle .We shouldn't ignore the main position of the students and turn to observe. Explore and think by them.②Interactive principle. It's required that such things as follows should be done: a. the communication between teacher's and students. The communication between students and computers; c. the communication between teachers and computers.③Efficient principle during the course of CAIM ,don't try to be fashionable to make the courseware and we'd adopt it at the proper time .In the teaching practice, not all-teaching content is suitable for the use of computer. The overstatement of the function of computers will lead to the monotonous operation like the movie-player;④Academic principle. The math courseware is required to show the features of math with it vivid and clear without the loss of preciseness.⑤Opening principle. It contains 3 aspects: a. the courseware of CAI can establish a certain kind of problem situation which can make the students use their own eyes and brains t study, b. The courseware of CAI should not only provide a fixed teaching program and should respond to the uncertainty in the course of teaching, c. In order to foster the students' ability of exploration and analysis, the exercise part of courseware should contain the insufficient-condition or uncertain-conclusion problems.Chapter IV. The practical study of CAIM: 1. The thesis comments on the tactics of CAIM, which are to clarify the designing ideas, establish the teaching goals and organize teaching contents; 2. It talks about the positive application plan of CAIM: ①Develop active-display courseware to help the teachers in class ②Develop ...
