| In view of the trend of current social development and present situation of universities' construction of China, this paper, on the basis of relative theories of president's office management, analyzes the problems in the process of universities' constriction, and presents the corresponding strategies accordingly.Firstly, this paper presents relative theories about president's office administration of a university. It begins with the definition and classification of common offices, and gives the definition of the president's office of a university. President's office serves as a pivot and a window for the whole university, assists university leaders to make important decisions and coordinates various relationships. President's office is also responsible for implementation of all kinds of regulations, arrangements of meetings, dealing with routine affairs and construction of itself. The work of president's office is closely connected with policies with clear features as comprehensive, coordinative, confidential, passive and urgent.Secondly, this paper studies the challenges that president's office administration of a university is facing: challenges from the function and objective of president's office, from the qualities of president's office staffs and from president's office equipment and technologyThirdly, the paper provides countermeasures for the development and improvement of president's office administration of a university: to improve the management system, transform the functions and definite the objective; to improve the whole quality and skills of president's office staffs and promote the service quality and efficiency. |
