The integration of information technology(IT) and courses(includingmathematics) is a new type of teaching means one of the developingtendencies in teaching in the future. In the reform(or reconstruction) ofteaching model, the integration of IT with course teaching has quite bigdeveloping potentials. Even though model reconstruction is not a difficultwork, reconstructing all the existing course models is quite challenging andtime-consuming. However, the introduction of IT as a completely newteaching factor can surely enhance teaching. There are three kinds of basicmodels for course integration, i.e. the infrastructure reform of traditionalclass teaching by IT, studying and constructing IT-based creative classteaching model, and net-based class teaching pattern. In this paper, theauthor has chosen class teaching of mathematics in junior middle school asthe main study target. On the basis of teaching research , using the author'sown advantage in teaching experience, the above mentioned three kinds ofmodels have been improved and perfected in order to obtain easiereffective operation. One year practice guided by the new idea have gainedthe result that students have achieved higher scores. In training students'image and abstract thinking, the new method is helpful in improvingstudents' ability of image thinking while for abstract thinking the methodstill needs to be perfected. At the end, the author has put forward somethoughts with respects to the topic. Resources are the major obstacle in theintegration of IT and courses. Thus the integration should mainly aims atteaching reform. This paper has discussed the advantages of the ITintegration in mathematics teaching ,and how to improve class teachingprocess ,and how to ameliorate class teaching structure for mathematics,and how to promote students' effective study, and how to raise students'mathematical ability.
